Sarah and Nick were married this past December in what could only be called a perfect wintry wedding. With a ceremony at Fairmont and a reception following at 1705 Prime, their Raleigh wedding was lovely from start to finish.

The bride’s delicate pumps with bows added a classic ladylike touch.

The English Garden did these gorgeous floral designs.

The junior bridesmaid carried this pomander style bouquet. Different from traditional bouquets, the pomander is a ball of flowers hanging from a decorative ribbon. This variation from traditional bouquets is also a great option for flower girls or other bridesmaids.

With the exception of the junior bridesmaid, the other three bridesmaids carried simple bouquets of baby’s breath which were perfectly complimented by their soft sage green dresses.

Fairmont United Methodist Church is a traditional wedding ceremony venue in the heart of Raleigh. Towards the end of the ceremony the guests were given candles to hold- a perfect touch for the a wedding in the holiday season.

What a fantastic vintage inspired shot from Sweet Life Photo.

The bride and groom chose to incorporate a “wishing tree” into their reception decor. This gorgeous tree, designed by The English Garden, was accompanied by little tags with which guests could write congratulations and wishes for the bride and groom.

And the little wish tags even featured the couple’s new last name initial.

Rocky Top Hospitality provided the delicious reception cuisine including mini pizza slices and BBQ biscuit sandwiches. As always Rocky Top did a spectacular job on the food…all the guests loved it!

We love Rocky Top Catering for Triangle Weddings! DJ Ken Holmes from Joe Bunn DJ Company kept the dance floor packed!

The delicious cakes were made by Cinda’s Creative Cakes.

The bride and groom also chose to show alma mater spirit with a delicious Wake Forest Deacon mascot cake and a Virginia Tech Hokies mascot cake. They looked almost too good to eat!

1705 Prime is a perfect Raleigh wedding reception venue with plenty of space for tables, mingling, buffets, a bar, and of course of dance floor!

1705 Prime is one classy southern wedding reception venue. It’s traditional on the outside, but contemporary on the inside.

Congratulations, Sarah & Nick!
