Congratulations to Liz and Russell! They were married this past weekend in Raleigh. Liz wanted an all white ceremony and then have the guests walk into the reception and be wowed with color. So I had to call in the experts! Jeff from Simpsound did an amazing job transforming this space! Kayelily Middleton was the officiant and gave a beautiful ceremony!

Piping and draping the space is a great way to bounce color from the lighting into the space. The lighting changed throughout the night. It was fabulous!

These gorgeous linens and all the rentals were from Classic Party Rentals.

This beyond gorgeous cake was created by Cake Dreams by Sally. The bride also wanted to recognize three other couples that were having their anniversaries the same week and ordered smaller cakes for those couples. It was a hit!
We flipped the ceremony site from all white into a colorful awesome lounge with furniture rented from Flair! It was such a great enviroment with a Shrimp and Grits station provided by Triangle Catering.

Of course we had to have a candy bar. Delish!!

Thank you to Rachel Suttles for these pictures, you rock!

Happy Fall weather in the air!!

I often get asked about ideas for Wedding Party Gifts. I always refer my brides to Swagger Gifts. I asked my girl Mandy at Swagger to be my guest blogger and give you all some great ideas from her fabulous store!

Swagger Gifts – Bridal Party and Groomsmen Attendant Gifts for Everyone on Your List!

What are the groomsmen doing with their down time?

Is there a Friday or Saturday golf outing planned? (We hear the best way to recover from any bachelor party exhaustion is by taking in at least nine holes on a sunny morning.) If the local greens are on their schedule, be sure to outfit them with personalized sports towels! “A monogram for gentlemen?”, you ask? Of course! There are several monogram fonts available that won’t make your groomsmen think twice about adding their initials to more of their golf duds!

Top 3 Gifts to Satisfy Any Guy!

For Mr. Fix-It, a great pocket knife always comes in handy. Add his monogram for a really personalized touch!

For the Sharp-Dessed Man, these square cufflinks will bring any look together for a really polished finish! Swagger Gifts offers several options – square, circle, oval, and even black and silver cufflinks – the hardest part of your decision will be which shape to select for each groomsman!

For the Host with the Most, a set of personalized glasses makes a great addition to a perfect party, tremendous tailgate, or Sunday Funday! Choose from Flared Double Old Fashioned glasses, Classic Double Old Fashioned glasses, Tailgate Beer Mugs, and many other entertaining staples from Swagger Gifs’ barware selection.

Top Three Gifts for the Trendy, Modern, and Classic Bridesmaids!

For the Trendy Girl in your party, a customized picture frame from Danielson Design’s exclusive online design studio for Swagger Gifts is your one-stop source for gifts with flair! Choose from any of the original Danielson Design templates or create your own look using your favorite quotes, names,… even song lyrics – the sky is the limit.

For the Modern Maven in your party (you know… the one who kindly spent hours putting together your photo slideshow on DVD for the reception and gracefully re-published your The Knot webpage for you a dozen times), a monogrammed laptop sleeve or Scout laptop bag are a personalized choice that she would’ve never thought to buy for herself!

For the Classically Chic attendant, a personalized gift from Swagger Gifts’ Stamps and Stationery collection will be a perfect fit! These girls are already well-versed in the art of correspondence and thank you cards, so be sure to outfit their collection with a piece they’ll really enjoy. Notecards come in an unending selection of designs and colors and the personalized stamps and embossers are a great way to give a gift than can be used and reused for years to come.

Too Many Tastes to Pick Separate Gifts? Here’s Our “Go To” Gift!

For a One-Stop Shop Gift that’ll please everyone in your party, we’re BIG fans of monogrammed pashminas… especially if your wedding is, say, before May and you’re bridal entourage will be outfitted in sleeveless dresses?! You can pick up one for everyone in your party (in your signature color – or colors, of course) or you can mix-and-match for personalized picks if you know what colors each of your bridesmaids covets the most!
